A vacancy has arisen for a Workshop Technician based in the Machine Shop at our clients facility in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
Your main duties will include:
• Setting and operating of both CNC and manual machines
• Completing relevant Inspection Reports.
• Reading CNC programs
• Management of all tooling requirements.
• Carrying out Workshop Processes in accordance with relevant Standard Practices and QA Procedures
• Participating in the review of Workshop Processes to improve quality, safety and efficiency
• Carrying out general workshop maintenance and Health & Safety duties as instructed
• You must be willing to work overtime and shift patterns as required.
Requirements:
• Proficient in the setting & operation of CNC Lathes & 5 axis milling machines.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read engineering drawings and inspect own work.
You must be a time served Machinist and must be educated to City & Guilds / HNC level. Full training will be given on all in-house specific processes.
