Special Needs teaching job in Kingston-upon-Thames. An experienced teacher is required, for a 1:1 tuition role in Surrey. The role would involve working with key stage 3 and 4 girls who have Special Educational Needs in a variety of settings. This special needs teaching job in Surrey is open to primary and secondary teachers, who will be based at various schools across Kingston.
This opportunity is at a Pupil Referral Unit in the Surrey area, easily accessible from Clapham Junction station. This post involves working with children with Emotional, Behavioural and Learning Difficulties on a one to one basis, in a supportive environment. It will also include visiting schools in the area to work with children who need extra support in the classroom.
All staff are well supported and are a part of a hard working and friendly team.
An experienced and resilient teacher is required to tutor core subjects to learners with special needs. A patient and committed teacher, who likes a challenge, would be ideal for this special needs position in Surrey.
- You must be a qualified teacher to UK standard
- Experience in working with Special Needs children is a must
- Previous experience in a Pupil referral unit would be a distinct advantage
