This Specialist Contaminated Land and Remediation Company with offices throughout the UK are looking to recruit a project manager within their organisation based in the North West of England. The company pride themselves on offering a full solution to clients from site investigation to complete remediation strategy and clean up on all types of contaminated land sites.
Due to an increasing workload, they are looking to appoint a project manager within their North West base. There is flexibility in the level of the role and could suit someone with a few years post graduate experience or someone already at a senior level, the position can be moulded dependant on the level of candidate and their ability. They work across the whole UK in both public and private sectors and have varied client base, working with house builders, regulators and commercial developers. They offer a complete solution from initial design through to implementation of remedial action.
Candidates should have a broad range of remediation experience, from either a contracting or consultancy background. Ideally you will be educated to a minimum of degree level you should also have a proven track record in commercial site investigation and have the ability to manage multiple projects at any given time. You must possess commercial awareness and bring projects in on time, to a high quality and within budget.

My client is an expanding contaminated land and remediation consultancy based throughout the UK. They have a fantastic reputation within their fields of expertise and are widely regarded as the market leaders.
Due to an increased workload a role has become available for an experienced Environmental Scientist to join their team in the Central belt of Scotland.
The successful candidate should have a science based degree and solid experience of project managing oil pollution and contaminated land investigations and remediation projects, in domestic and commercial environments. The role will require the successful candidate to carry out phase 1 and 2 site investigations across a number of sites across the Central Belt of Scotland. It is therefore required that the candidate will require a full driving licence.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience working on similar projects in a consultancy or contractor environment as well as the subsequent commercial report writing skills.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
*Quali cations as a BREEAM assessor in one or more scheme types, preferably including BREEAM New Construction 2011 *Proven experience in delivering projects in relation to the above schemes *Quali cations in CfSH, up to and including latest version *Solid experience in delivering CfSH projects *Accreditation to perform SAP/SBEM calculations an advantage but not essential *Experience and/or knowledge in delivering renewable energy feasibility studies an advantage but not essential *Excellent inter-personnel communication and report writing skills are essential

I am currently recruiting for a Principal Consultant / CDM-C to work within the Health and Safety division of a Construction & Property Consultancy working on a wide variety of projects nationally, but predominately in London and the South East. Candidates will have a proven track record in providing a CDM service to numerous clients across varying industry sectors. The role represents an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected and pro-active practice with excellent career prospects in a new post as a Principal Consultant. Duties: The successful candidate will primarily discharge CDM Co-ordinator statutory duties as defined within the ACoP and provide health and safety consultancy support. Additionally, there will be the opportunity to provide general safety advice including inspections and audits with support on all aspects of construction safety, including fire risk and training (internal and external if qualified and competent to do so).
The role would suit an experienced professional with a background in construction, surveying, construction design, architecture or construction safety.
NEBOSH general and construction certificate would be an advantage, along with recognised professional memberships, in particular RMaPS.
