We are looking for a Domiciliary Care Manager with all the right care values, passion and customer focus to be ultimately responsible for developing our existing and well establish domiciliary care service in the Leeds and surrounding West Yorkshire areas.

We are looking for a strong forward thinking manager, with excellent Business development skills who can drive our Home care business forward.

You will be the driving force of our service, sourcing new business, recruiting the right people and training them in our values and high standards to ensure that our domiciliary care service is unrivalled and is talked about for all the right reasons in the local Leeds and surrounding West Yorkshire areas.
• Being the first point of contact for our customer’s enquiries.
• Meeting our customers and getting to know them.
• Putting together a personalised Care Plan and Risk Assessment.
• Responsible for the safe & legal delivery of the service.
• Recruiting sufficient staff with the right values and passion to work in home care.
• Constantly promoting our values to the team and monitoring quality.
• Carrying out inductions for new staff and ensuring their training is kept up to date.
• Ensuring that care is delivered to the highest quality and our customers are happy.

They provide a range of services including Domestic Care, Personal Care and Social Care.

As a Care Co-ordinator for this service in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire you will report directly to the Branch Manager of the service and ensure that our clients receive their care on time as scheduled and agreed in their care plans. You will have staff management responsibilities including a Field Care Supervisor and Care Assistants. You will have experience of completing moving and handling assessments and Risk Assessments for all new clients. You will have a thorough understanding of Care Standards and subsequent regulations for Domiciliary Care Agencies and ensure that the area operates within those standards and guidelines. As part of your role as Co-ordinator you will also manage opportunities for business development by maintaining close relationships with both local authority and private clients throughout the North Yorkshire area.

You will be qualified ideally to NVQ Level 3 – Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards. You will have experience of working within the Home Care/Domiciliary Care Sector. A driving licence is essential and use of a car on a daily basis for visits to our client’s homes to carry out initial Assessments.
