Early and Late shifts on a 2 week rota - Week 1: 06.00 - 15:30. Week 2: 12:00 - 22:00
Job role
Based in a busy workshop environment you will be required to undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs and major over hauls as well as completing standard servicing and diagnostics
You must be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion
Candidates must have the following attributes:
Be apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
Having a C + E (class 1) driving licence is beneficial but not essential
To be considered for our positions you must have worked in the motor trade within the last two years in an identical role.

My client, a major commercial fleet hire business with multiple sites across the UK is actively seeking to employ a number of skilled and experienced HGV Technicians / Fitters / Mechanics for their depot in Bradford.
Working in a modern state of the art workshop facility, you will be required to undertake routine servicing, maintenance, overhauls, MOT inspections and preparation on a mixed fleet of heavy commercial vehicles from a wide range of manufacturers.
The successful applicant MUST have City & Guilds / NVQ level three qualifications in heavy vehicle maintenance as a minimum and have a class 2 HGV driving licence (Although a Class 1 HGV Licence would be preferred).
This vacancy is a 4 on 4 off DAY SHIFT, hours of work will be 6am - 6pm. You will have an hour for meal break whilst on shift. The hourly rate of pay will be £12 per hour or a basic annual salary of £28,704. Overtime is available to those employees who are looking to increase their earnings.

you will be leading a maintenance team of skilled and experienced HGV Technicians / Fitters and Mechanics and making decisions to achieve optimum efficiency, productivity and profitability. This role is a non productive position where the successful applicant will be directly responsible for th 6 engineers on each shift. It is ideally suited to shift supervisors looking to lead a team whilst improving their man management skills.

The role:
Co-ordinate all maintenance activity.
Overseeing a pool of 6 engineers on each shift.
Develop the skill base of all maintenance engineers.

Working Day shifts 06:30 - 15:00 / 13:300 - 22:00
The person required:
Experience with health and safety systems
Computer Literate
Self Starter
Man Manager
Supervisory / team leader experience.
Maintenance experience and knowledge of Commercial Vehicles
Class 1 HGV Licence is a must for this role

In return, a salary of £32,000 is on offer as well as 24 days holiday per annum with the option of joining the company pension scheme after 12 months service.
