The individual will work alongside the Technical director, Project engineering manager, engineering and CEM to ensure the smooth manufacture of a range of products. This role demands an individual with a strong technical ability coupled with a track record in driving quality improvements, advanced manufacturing planning and production engineering excellence. The individual will generate manufacturing packs and process control documents detailing the assembly and test of each product clearly and in detail. On a day-today basis you will be proactive in ensuring change is clearly defined BOM creation and updates are maintained and accepted within the CEM, leading implementation of changes to drive cost reduction while increasing quality levels. The ability to produce production assembly instructions to remove opportunity for error is key. Upon completion of production engineering activities the individual will be responsible for auditing and maintaining of all defined processes within each of the contract manufacturers both UK and Malaysia This will feed supplier process controls to deliver world class quality and enable on-time customer deliveries. This is a key role requiring an array of QA/QC, engineering / manufacturing / DFT DFM techniques. Smooth migration to a new Engineering software package PDXpert will also be a key responsibility.

The successful applicants ideally will possess the following key qualities and skills
* Has the experience of working in a lean and process improvement environment Have strong practical knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma techniques
