We are currently working on behalf of one of our clients to appoint an Electronics Engineer to work from their site close to Nottingham city centre.
They are a global company that specialise in “best in class” industrial printing technologies used around the world in a wide range of markets. And in turn are part of a larger US-based multi-billion dollar corporation.
They are looking to recruit an Electronics Engineer to join an existing team to provide development capacity for new products and to provide support for existing products. The current team is working at full capacity so this is a new role.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Estimate the time electrical enhancements and fixes take.
- Deliver working hardware and production documentation in that timescale.
- Produce “right first time” designs.
- Gain a broad understanding of the electronic/electrical architecture of the company’s products.
They are looking for someone who has:
- A good working knowledge of electronics hardware design ranging from light current programmable logic and micro controllers through to switch mode power supply and motor control design.
- An in depth knowledge of good EMC design practice and techniques.
The 3 key challenges for Year 1 in employment are:
- To gain a thorough knowledge of the systems architecture of all the company's current products.
- To contribute to the enhancement of the systems architecture in existing products.
- To contribute to the on-time development of new products.
