In order to continue this, we are currently looking to recruit a Care Support Supervisor for this highly successful business. THIS IS A NEW ROLE that has been created due to expansion.

The primary responsibilities of the Care Support Supervisor will be to ensure their clients have the right packages of care and that their staff are delivering these to the highest standards through:

Regularly visiting clients to ensure that they are happy with their service and that their care package is still relevant;
Training new and existing staff from induction through to the latest training requirements as amended from time to time;
Monitoring staff performance through supervisory visits and providing mentoring, retraining and coaching as appropriate;
Supporting the HomeCare Manager and Assistant Manager in the office as required.
The position is intended to be full-time and permanent, and will involve working for forty hours per week on a flexible basis involving day-time, evenings and weekends to reflect the times we deliver care to their clients.

Main Responsibilities

This person will have responsibilities in three areas and will liaise closely with both the HomeCare Manager and Assistant Manager in carrying these out.

Clients

To ensure that their service is delivered to clients to a high standard and in way that is safe to everyone involved;
To carry-out regular Client Reviews, including updating Needs Assessments, Care/Support Plans and Risk Assessments to ensure are service remains relevant and safe;
To liaise with all members of the Team to ensure the effective delivery of the service;
To liaise closely with the HomeCare Manager and Assistant Manager with regard to any changes to a client’s circumstances.
To ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with Company Procedures and that carers are kept informed of any changes in this regards;
To carry out regular monitoring visits to ensure carers are carrying out their role safely, effectively and in accordance with the Client’s Care Plan and Company Procedures;
To offer ad hoc advice and guidance on the delivery of the service to their carers and carry out formal Carer Supervisions in accordance with the company’s Staff Development Procedure to ensure their carers continually operate to the highest standards;
To support the HomeCare Manager with any investigation carried out into the conduct of a carer/s;
To assist in the allocation of specific tasks to carers;
To respond to carers’ queries/concerns and inform the HomeCare Manager where appropriate;
To ensure that carers always present themselves in accordance with Company Procedures including checking that identity cards are carried, name badges are worn and uniforms are clean and presentable at all times.
To undertake On-Call duties two days per week or as required to ensure clients and carers have out-of-hours support;
To undertake care visits when other cover is unavailable;
It is essential that you have a good basic education, are PC literate to include Word, have previous experience in a similar role gained in a Domiciliary Care environment. You should also have a full driving licence and your own form of transport and live locally in the Bromley area.
