Skills, Experience and Knowledge
Ideally a qualified accountant with excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to progress within a rapidly changing environment CIMA/ ACCA (or equivalent) with experience within a Commercial firm, environment with demonstrable technical ability Confident in technical ability with strong understanding of accounting standards Excellent communication skills with an ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner Proven ability to work to deadlines Advanced Excel skills including a knowledge of Macros Ability to proactively manage challenging and conflicting situations / information Ability to stay calm under pressure Has experience in problem solving and 'thinking on your feet' Take a logical approach to problem solving and processes Highly organised Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Enjoys working as part of a team and collaboration Determined and driven by targets An energetic approach and a can-do attitude Self-motivated
Provide financial reconciliation on support income and costs for my client's support function, thereby establishing the profitability of the support department on a customer and job basis. Develop relationships with other finance team members to ensure that accurate reporting and insightful analysis is provided to management to allow forecasting. Prepare the management accounts of the subsidiaries, including month end, P&L production and balance sheet reconciliations. Support to the financial controller function
