Events Project Manager
Please only apply if you have previous experience working within Events, Hospitality or Catering.
This is a full time role for someone who can really grow into this segment of our clients business, drive it into a sub-brand and for them to become a very important component of the company.
The role would be working primarily with me as the brand director and our operations director, as facilitator, but as the sector is so much less predictable we always hire freelance staff to suit the workload. We have an alternative dormant office which I intend to activate in preparation, so there is scope and investment in this consideration.
The salary is between £28 - 32k depending on their experience. The bonus structure would echo that of the other sales staff in the company; quarterly paid between £5k and £10k , however I will also create a “superbonus” scheme for really high sales achievement. it is quite personal for me and I want to get this absolutely right.
This business and client type, rather than be defined by location is best defined by need. In other words it is the putting on of events for the sake of experience or business communications or a brand development and not just parties or celebrations or awards ceremonies. For example this sector is focusing on clients who are launching or communicating some business message or product. Could be automotive, telecoms, fashion and retail, construction and property development. The buyers in this sector are quite likely to be agents, marketing agencies, production companies, pr agents and occasionally the marketing departments of large companies.
The role is Sales and Coordination based at manager level. They are food and drink savvy. They must be client facing first and operations second. Brand and trend aware, out there and ready to travel around meet customers and come up with ideas to assist their brand development needs.

The primary objective of the Project Manager is to promote and develop the ODC/Project sector of our business, ensuring that sales targets are achieved and projects are confirmed at a price which allows our high quality standards and GP% targets to be met.
