Our client is a successful organisation based in the Scunthorpe / Grimsby area who continues to flourish. Due to their continued success they are now looking to appoint a middleweight designer to join their team. Candidates should have an in-depth knowledge of the adobe suite including excellent skills in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop CS5. Indesign, Powerpoint & Acrobat knowledge will also be required. The ideal candidate will be a real team player but also able to work alone and against tight deadlines.
THE ROLE
Responsibilities will include:
Taking briefs directly from clients, both face to face & over the phone/email
Managing workload & expectations to ensure work is out on time to deadlines given
Scheduling couriers, creating & producing physical mock-ups to send out on a regular basis
Liaising with external suppliers & printers
Sourcing images & purchasing online files
Supporting the artwork & repro department with next stages of projects
Quality control & thorough checking of own work
Art direction with in house photographer, to ensure creative requirements are met
Organising & controlling product deliveries for photo shoots & organising crops
