HR MANAGER required for a successful food manufacturing company based in Hull. Salary is circa £40,000 (dependant upon experience). Arlington Moore Recruitment is recruiting for our client who is a highly respected business who continues to expand and flourish. They are now looking for an experienced HR Manager to join and strengthen their team. The role is responsible for the provision of an HR function for the business which collectively employs around 400 staff, split between permanent and temporary workers. The team consists of an HR Advisor, an HR Administrator and responsibility for the payroll function. There is some Agency personnel used on site and this usage doubles the size of the site head count towards Christmas when it is particularly busy and HR staff are required to work over the period (and this may include Boxing Day). Ideal candidates will have a strong and established background working within HR and hold a CIPD qualification. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for: Ensuring all equipment and machinery is operating at maximum efficiency by conducting breakdown, planned and improvement maintenance Reporting and following up any maintenance issues arising from the above to ensure remedial or corrective action taken including detailed reporting of issues on computer based systems and paperwork Conducting electrical maintenance, fault finding and testing on instrumentation, control systems, inverters, motors etc Undertaking electrical projects and installations as directed by engineering management Carrying out maintenance and routine service work as detailed by engineering management Complying with all health & safety procedures, legislation and good practice standards Successful Multi Skilled Engineer candidates will ideally have: BTEC/C&G Electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent/higher) BS7671 IEE wiring regulations 17th edition Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, testing and certification Basic PLC knowledge and fault finding Working knowledge of Machine Safety Directives, EAWR 1989 and PUWER Minimum 3 years relevant experience Training will be provided for the right candidate.
