1. Evidence of at least 2 years senior management experience within a relevant care setting within the past 5 years
Is a first level registered nurse and has a relevant management qualification
2. The registered manager can demonstrate that he/she has undertaken periodic training to update his/her knowledge, skills and competence, whilst managing the home
3. Possession of the ENB 998 or 730 Courses (Teaching Certificates) Mentorship Course, would be useful when the Registered Person is required to provide teaching programmes for staff.
4. The applicant should have been in employment recently and show evidence of being up to date with current legislation, mandatory requirements and (something like current trends/working methods within the professional Care Industry)
5. All job holders with professional nursing or other professional qualifications must maintain their own professional competence in accordance with NMC code of conduct.

THE ROLE : Polish/Slovakian care assistants - Caring for elderly people in nursing home. Involves personal care (washing / dressing / feeding). Good communication skills essential.
PAY RATE : £6.20 per hour midweek and £6.50 per hour weekends.
Team consists generally of Polish and Slovakian staff.
WEEKEND WORK IS REQUIRED.
Contracted hours would be APPROX 36 per week with an option for more (overtime)
Accommodation is available nearby to the care home - cost £80 per week approx
Experience is very helpful but the most important thing is good communication and an empathy with caring for older people.
