This is a brand new role within the company and it comes at an exciting time of expansion and new product introduction into the marketplace.
Role Responsibilities:
To undertake the assembly and manufacture of parts & products to the point where they are complete and ready for test. The two main assemblies to be built are air treatment plants that will feed the product with -20 and -40 conditioned air to a set humidity. You will be involved in the development of the first products. Improve assembly methods and practices to reduce costs and minimise waste. Improve build quality to minimise non-conformities. Ensure tidiness, cleanliness and standards of 'housekeeping' in own work area and throughout the workshop. Training of other employees as required. Packaging and dispatching machines as required. Working on the main line assembling the companies products when orders for conditioning plants are up to date.
Skills and Qualifications:
Competence in refrigeration plant manufacture and gas handling. Competence in undertaking general electro mechanical assembly or finishing operations. Competence in pneumatic and wiring installations in accordance with best practice standards. Be able to test machines to international standards and regulations.
Fork truck licence would be an advantage however is not essential.

Robotics Project Applications Engineer Tamworth £28,000 - £32,000
I am currently recruiting for a Robotics Project Applications Engineer for a well respected automation solutions company.
The role will be to drive all aspects relating to robotics within an automation project, this will include initial scoping out of projects involving themselves with the sales team to assist with ensuring that the correct robot is specified for the project.
Once a project has been sold, the position requires involvement with the design team, at this stage you will be responsible for the suitability of the robot specification, ensuring that the correct robot is ordered (i.e. Reach, Correct I/O, payload, cycle time) this is to be verified through the use of robot studio. It will also be the responsibility of the RPAP to liaise with the project manager to ensure that correct timings are drawn into the timing plan.
The role will use the available resources to develop all aspects of the robotic project, this will include leading the control engineers to ensure that all aspects of control between the robot and cell components are managed from design to implementation.
The applications engineer/ programmer will work with the project manager to arrange and schedule; build, Factory acceptance and installation of the project. The role will be required to program robotic elements within the cell, where appropriate this will be supported by a contracted Robot programmer.
Development Projects / Trials The Role will be responsible for the day to day running of the Robot Development Centre, Liaising with the Robot Business Manager, scheduling development projects, carrying out trials bringing in all necessary outsourced expertise/equipment to complete trials/development projects.
The role will involve a certain amount of travel and onsite installation/ service work, which will involve being on site to program/ install projects as well as carry out rectification and service work on existing installations, using in house and outsourced resources to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Regular meetings with the Robotics Business Manager will be held to update status of projects and development work.

This role comes at a time of expansion and major investment within the company.
The project engineer will join an experienced team and be an integral part of the up coming projects within the thermal / heat transfer department within the facility.
Skills and experience required:
Engineering or Science degree as a minimum. High understanding of heat transfer and fluid dynamics. Knowledge of test and development. Experience of report writing. Design software knowledge - ProEngineer / Solidworks. Six Sigma knowledge or experience.
To be successful in this role you will be a forward thinking engineer who can not only fact find and report this back to senior management but also present suggestions and lead the project.

Our clients, market leaders within their field, are looking to recruit an Plastics Fabricator to join their existing assembly team. The company is within the top 3 in the world and are the only company in the UK to manufacture their bespoke products which are specifically used in the Automotive and Aerospace industries.
Role Responsibilities:
To undertake the assembly and manufacture of parts & products to the point where they are complete and ready for test. Improve assembly methods and practices to reduce costs and minimise waste. Improve build quality to minimise non-conformities. Training of other employees as required. Packaging and dispatching machines as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
Competence in Plastic Fabrication which includes the welding, cutting of material and manufacture of the products sub assemblies. Materials used are PolyProp, Poly Carb, PETG and PVC. GRP fitting as required. Competence in undertaking general electro mechanical assembly or finishing operations. Competence in pneumatic and wiring installations in accordance with best practice standards.
Fork truck License would be an advantage but not necessary.

Our client who are leaders in the design and manufacture of components and assemblies for the Aerospace, Medical and Automotive industries are now looking to recruit a highly experienced Quality Inspector to join their current team.
You will reporting to the Quality Manager and will be working in the Bio-Medical cell.
Your main duties will include the inspection of medical implant components to the required QA level, as defined in the quality procedure and customer specification. You will be required to use a range of specialist measuring equipment to perform dimensional inspection of components and completion of FAI reports. Experience and qualification in using dye penetrant would be advantageous.
Candidate will be required to read and understand product drawings and specifications accurately and visually inspect components and products to specification.
Working within a self inspection environment where quality and accuracy is of paramount importance as you will be working to tight tolerances. Ideally candidates will have completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent.
