There is an immediate need for a Successful Electrically Bias Maintenance Engineer to join a thriving FMCG manufacturer based in Herefordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing company who have a modern manufacturing facility in the UK. You will be working within a high speed, clean and safe working environment.
The Job
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC systems. Previous experience within the FMCG industry is essential. You will be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and machinery onsite and are required to respond to breakdowns onsite as they occur. You will also plan and prioritise a PPM schedule to make sure all of the machinery onsite is running at optimum level. Candidates must be able to diagnose problems quickly and effectively to ensure downtime onsite is kept to a minimum. Due to the nature of their seasonal product, you will work the following shift. (Lots of overtime available)
Key skills: -

Our client is a successful FMCG manufacturer that supplies a wide range of leading products to the UK's major retailers and due to continued success and development; they are now seeking to hire an energetic Engineering Manager.
Joining the Senior Management Team, the selected Engineering Manager will be responsible for a team of multi disciplined engineers and ensuring that site production is constantly monitored and improved to ensure maximum efficiency standards by delivering a proficient and effective PPM system. The site carries out a full packaging production cycle. As a member of the senior management team, you will work alongside other departmental managers to identify potential areas of improvements to the manufacturing process and reductions in the sites overall costs. You will also lead capital expenditure projects onsite and prepare CAD drawings to show factory layouts. Successful candidates will be able to develop a PPM system onsite to move from reactive to proactive maintenance. This is a highly projects orientated position, with the company expanding dramatically over the next 12 months with new lines installed.
Candidates will ensure Engineering personnel comply with company Quality Standards and procedures, including those relating to HACCP.
Suitable applicants will be qualified engineers with have at least two years experience leading a team of engineers within a high speed manufacturing environment, either as an Engineering Manager or supervisor. They will also be able to demonstrate excellent man management skills, as you will be expected to ensure all training and staff development procedures are in place.
