Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers
FMCG Food Processors
Contract Immediate Start
£18 per hour
(12 hour night shifts)
3 on 3 off (3 month contract) potential permanent
Nottingham
The company
There is an immediate need for a hardworking Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to cover various 12hr shifts (Nights/Days) for an FMCG manufacturer based in Nottingham. This is due to a healthy order book for 2012. You will need to be a well experienced hardworking individual with a can do attitude to all work presented to yourself. The Ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to his work and must be able to adapt and hit the ground running.
The Job
Previous experience within the Food industry is ESSENTIAL. You will be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and machinery onsite and are required to respond to breakdowns onsite as they occur. You will be working to a PPM schedule to make sure all of the machinery onsite is running at optimum level. Candidates must be able to diagnose problems quickly and effectively to ensure downtime onsite is kept to a minimum. Candidates who can fault find electrically will be suitable, a true 50/50 mechanical / electrical engineer will be best suited.

There is an immediate need for a Successful Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a storage and logistics provider based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing company who have sites across Europe. You will be working within a newly built, clean and safe working environment.
The Job
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of Conveyors, Cranes and Automatic Unloading systems. Previous experience within the 'food' industry would be an advantage but not essential. You will be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and machinery onsite and are required to respond to breakdowns onsite as they occur. You will also plan and prioritise a PPM schedule to make sure all of the machinery onsite is running at optimum level. Candidates must be able to diagnose problems quickly and effectively to ensure downtime onsite is kept to a minimum.
Key skills: -
• Knowledge of Conveyors, Automatic Loading Systems and Cranes
• Knowledge of Warehouse systems
• Have the ability to work quickly and effectively
• Manage own workload
• Good awareness of health and safety

The Salary & Package
39 hours per week
Rotating 8 hour shifts 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 5pm-1am
27 days holiday per annum
£29,000 per annum
