Mission:

Role:

Our client is currently looking for high caliber graduates to work as Field Engineers onboard a variety of key construction vessels in the North Sea on a rotational basis (Offshore/Office/Rest).

Duties

1.Work in staff to the superintendant of the vessel and report to him.
2.Perform all task assigned by the superintendant, in direct contact with the assistant
superintendant, the master and the chief engineer.
3.Monitor construction / installation etc. progress to ensure acceptable quality of
structures and finishes.
4.Verify sub-contractors' performance and assess their operation performance.
5.Liaison with the project personnel, Foremen and Inspectors to ensure smooth job
preparation and field operations.
6.Perform yard activities supervision for the offshore construction.
7.Liaise with asset management for the contract monitoring of the assets.
8.Ensure the application of project engineering in the construction activities.
9.Liaise with Client technical representative for all engineering matters.
10.Perform all possible technical verifications on field.
Provide on-site engineering services to the Project or Site Manager to assist in the
achievement of project objectives, according to the plan/procedures developed by the
engineering project team.

Experience Required:

- Recent graduate in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical / Structural / Naval, etc).
- Interested in working offshore
- Good communication skills

- Understanding of Offshore Procedures (knowledge of pipeline installation techniques would be advantageous)

• Training, Learning and development plans and programs and the company Performance for both Offshore & Onshore Employees. Assessment programmes in accordance with Company policy, corporate guide lines and best practice.

• The Recruitment Team to ensure that the companies staffing requirements are met in a timely manner & within budget. The HR Manager is expected to lead the Recruitment team with best practice and innovation in order to meet company objectives.

• Employment contracts & amendments to contract for local, inpatriate & expatriate employees, agency agreements in line with UK law, company policies and Corporate Guidelines (Approx 1000 staff).

• Providing expert advice, coaching and support provided to Managers on all aspects of HR activities including, but not exclusively, policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, grievance and disciplinary situations, absence management and performance management

• Proactively applying labour law, updating company procedures, contracts, training & updating management on labour law and best practice.

• Promoting the development of the local content initiatives for the group & assist with the integration of employees with other companies.

• The communication links between HR and Payroll Departments to ensure that all information required by Payroll is passed over in an accurate and timely manner
