Based East Midlands
A Technical Sales Engineer with experience of gas turbine control systems is required for a busy and expanding company based in the East Midlands. The company are a small and dynamic organisation that provide aftermarket services on a legacy range of gas turbines. They require a key sales professional who can expand their control systems retrofits business area both in the UK and globally. Working very closely with the control systems team this is a varied role that could offer an active involvement in the full project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have a proven sales background with strong experience of gas turbine control systems. Experience of retrofits would be ideal. This is a technically focused role and it is essential that candidates can demonstrate a strong, relevant engineering background. The position could potentially be suitable for someone with a strong control systems and gas turbine engineering background with strong commercial acumen and a desire to pursue a career within sales.

Service Engineer - Control Systems
Salary negotiable
Field based, UK and overseas
A dynamic and motivated Control System Service Engineer is required to carry out service, maintenance, repair and commissioning of control systems on a range of industrial gas turbines. Within this field based role you will be predominantly covering the UK, including North Sea offshore locations, with the opportunity for occasional overseas travel.
The successful candidate will be qualified and have trained in a controls related discipline, and it is preferable that they have a strong bias towards gas turbines and their associated plant. Working to tight deadlines, and under a high degree of self guidance, the successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
• Knowledge of Gas Turbine control systems, including PLC operation and control.
• Maintenance, fault finding and calibration of control and instrumentation systems.
• Experience of site work as lead engineer and as part of a team.
• Understanding of operation of generator protection and AVR control systems
• Knowledge of analogue control systems would be beneficial.
Due to the nature of the position candidates must be possess a flexible work ethic and be able to obtain an offshore medical.

Integration Engineer
Salary £40-45k
Based in Southampton, Hampshire
An Integration Engineer with experience in machine automation is required for a busy engineering company in the Southampton area. A strong team player you will be a functional lead engineer to conceptualise, design and validate the control, communication and interfaces between the companies products and commercially available solutions. You will develop and validate electronic solutions and provide detailed understanding of control and communication products. You will build automated systems requiring CNC control and associated electro mechanical interfaces. In this customer facing role you will provide guidance and support for bespoke solutions.
This position requires a technical professional with strong automation design and project management skills with proven product integration / development expertise. Degree qualified you will have experience as an Integration Engineer or similar within an industrial product development team. Your technical experience will include embedded firmware / software design in C / C++ along with experience in PC hardware and data communication (RS232 / 422 / 485 / I2C / USB).
As this a customer facing role excellent communication skills are essential along with a natural ability to work with others. The successful candidate must also be willing to travel to customer sites.
