The person will focus on the wet chemical processes involving the use of various acids (including HF and nitric acid), and organic solvents to remove all residual processing contaminants from the metal surface. My client has a fantastic opportunity for a Development Engineer to join their expanding business. This is a great opportunity for an experienced designer to be involved in the design and development of new and modified products through to volume manufacture.
Duties:
To co-ordinate the development activities from feasibility through to production, including design, evaluation and final verification. To maintain design records primarily in the form of Project Design Files. To produce technical reports, papers, specifications, test plans, handbooks, product markings and maintain build standards of products under test and other design related documentation. To prepare for and participate in product Design Reviews. To conduct trials programmes and support certification of products. To support the design of the development and production processes and specify equipment necessary for producing the above products. To prepare and modify scheme, detail and assembly drawings using 2D AutoCAD/3D Solidworks CAD packages. Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Whiteley, Hampshire
Salary: £27-35k plus expenses (fixed-term contract - 9 months)
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be involved in delivering a post sales service to customers using the company's products and solutions. Predominantly working out in the field dealing with the customers across theUKyou will be problem solving and reporting back to engineers onsite.
As a Field Service Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:
Responding effectively, and in a timely manner to deliver field service activities required to deliver the project Recording of activity and progress to allow effective overall management of the project Diligent recording of pertinent details of equipment serviced and upgraded Fault finding and repair of the company's products and systems UKtravel is essential due to work at customer sites Demonstrable experience of delivering customer service in a technical environment Customer facing skills, including an ability to communicate technical information to customers at an appropriate level An ability to see product issues and staff behaviours from a customer's perspective An ability to work within a project team running to tight project deadlines As a Field Service Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Familiarity with basic RF systems Familiarity with data communication systems including IP and serial interfaces Practical skills in equipment integration, wiring and installation Practical skills in electronic assembly and component level repair Thoroughness in approaching the upgrade and calibration of electronic equipment Strong literacy and numeracy What we will be looking for in you:
