TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER
£25k to £30k OTE-£45k + Car
Our client is a UK market leader in the field of heating and cooling equipment with regional sales and technical support operations nationwide. They provide high quality, technically innovative product solutions and services to a diverse and growing customer base including Manufacturing, Industrial, Hospital, Pharamceutical, Food & Beverage, etc.
ROLE
As Technical Sales Engineer for the Northern region you shall be providing clients with heating and cooling solutions from the diverse range of products and services including Air Conditioning, Cooling, Temperature Control, Heat Pumps and Servicing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
With the West Yorkshire office being your base your responsibilities shall include:
· Cultivating new and existing customers.
· Have personal accountability for £1.4 million of sales within the dedicated customer base for the Northern region.
· Meeting and exceeding sales targets as set between the Regional Sales Director and you.
· Visiting clients to provide advice, quotations and proposals.
· Working with the Regional Sales Director and the Groups technical resources to ensure that all quotations and proposals are fit for purpose
· Forecast orders and sales on a four month forward view basis at requested 2 weekly intervals.
· Work closely with telesales and the regional Sales Director to establish any telesales strategy.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
· Engineering background and preferably with technical qualifications.
· An understanding of air conditioning / heating & cooling systems / Mechanical Building Services would be advantageous.
· Sales experience although preferable is not essential as training can be provided
· Travel throughout the Northern region
· Driving licence
