Our client operates its technologies from two metropolitan MPLS based data-centres to deploy its core business applications and operational efficiencies such as IPT, hosted Storage Area Networks and VDI solutions. Therefore the candidate should demonstrate knowledge of current and forthcoming versions or technologies', and have at least 3 years hands-on experience of:
Active Directory
Windows Servers and desktops
Microsoft Exchange
Anti-virus (currently Symantec)
Websense Secure Web Gateway and Secure Email Gateway (SaaS)
VMWare ESX
Citrix XenApp

Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager

In support of the other departmental teams in the IT Department (Creative, Development and projects) for current and the development of the back office systems, when not engaged on project based works, and to ensure that the candidate's technical skill-set and exposure can be progressed.

Other responsibilities will include, but are not restricted to:

Server Build:
Hardware
OS
Software installation
Working with the Operations team to provide new or upgraded server services

Documentation:

Remote Support:

Research:
To research technology areas and produce documentation and reports as required by the Operations management team

The applicant will be expected to regularly travel within the South East of England and potentially further should the business expand. Whilst trips are very rarely of more than 1 day duration some overnight stay may from time-to-time be a requirement. From time-to-time the applicant may have to travel and stay overseas as part of their duties, and should therefore have a full and valid UK passport with no imposed limitation on travel.
On starting this role the candidate will be placed on a six month probation which will be reviewed on a three monthly basis. The candidate is to demonstrate a determination to grasp those subjects relevant to their role and a level of self learning appropriate to the tasks in hand.

At the end of this three month period there will be a practical and theoretical test set by the line manager and an oral interview with the IT Operations Manager. These tests must be passed by the candidate and be approved by the line manager/Operations Manager, for them to proceed to the second probation period.

Additionally
Experience of CCTV plus small audio visual installations and maintenance is required, as is an ability to communicate comfortably and professionally at senior executive level (e.g. CEO and Chair)

This position is for technical projects delivery, and therefore as well as a strong technical background the candidates need good communication skills and obvious experience of projects delivery including design, specification, projects management and coordination and budget control.

We are looking for a highly motivated Digital Producer (or Project Manager) to join our expanding team at this organisation.
