Job Summary
The Marketing Assistant is in many ways the central pivot of the Department. This person provides marketing support across a range of subject areas in order to increase sales across the European, Middle East and Africa territories, as well as more general, cross-department, support. A key part of their job includes responding to customers’ enquiries (internal and external & on-line) in a timely and accurate manner. The role also includes maintenance of marketing systems to ensure product information is up-to-date, helping to put together cross-department Powerpoint Presentations, collating product information for use in email campaigns and leaflets, as well as responsibility for relevant sections of the company’s Intranet. This role also has the responsibility of producing accurate product sales tools every month for customers. They also have a key role in a number of team-wide activities such as helping prepare the team to prepare for the bi-annual sales conference and arranging external conferences.

Person Specification
• Educated to minimum of A level or equivalent and ideally to degree level
• Good PC skills with good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and ideally with experience of updating intranet sites
• Solid experience working within a busy and varied Administrative role with good organisational and multi-tasking skills and a flexible approach to tasks with a ‘can do’ attitude’
• Experience dealing with customers, both internally and externally
• Excellent numeracy, written and oral communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
