Justin Tilbury Recruitment are currently working alongside a client based in Banstead who are looking to recruit Product Manager to join their vibrant team covering the Nordic region (Norway, Sweden, Finland) . This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, successful and forward thinking specialist tour operator.
Overview of role:
We are looking to recruit an experienced Product Manager to join our clients dynamic and busy product team. With responsibility to manage their Norway, Sweden and Finland travel programs, the ideal candidate would have proven and extensive knowledge of these countries.
In this busy role you will be responsible for negotiating and implementing contracts, ensuring that the product they offer meets the market requirements and is competitively priced. In your day to day role you will be liaising with their marketing department on website content and promotional activity, all aspects of staff training as well as attending consumer exhibitions and trade workshops. You will be required to travel overseas for contracting and other business associated trips.
Experience/Skills required
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Product Manager for a tour operator, or similar role
- Extensive and proven knowledge of Norway, Sweden and Finland are preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately; excellent spoken and written English are essential.
- Teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills

Main Job Accountabilities:

Relationship Management

- To work closely with the wider Sales & Marketing division so as to co-ordinate efforts and share ideas.
- To work with Customer Services to ensure the correct and smooth handover of tasks required by IFAs as requested by field Sales Team.
Markets
- To understand strategic partner network firms proposition and their set up.
- To understand the IFA protection market including the different IFA types, their distribution and business models.
Systems & Processes
- To understand the company`s internal systems and processes so as to ensure competent support to the whole Sales Team.

Experience required::
- Two plus years sales support experience within a financial services environment
- Understanding of the Life / protection / insurance sector would be highly advantageous

Your primary responsibilities are to manage the PR, Promotions and Social Media. You will be responsible for the on-going management and development of these areas, as well being involved in other marketing activities and providing support for the rest of the marketing team as required.
Duties:
General:
Work and liaise within a team of approximately 7 marketers
Filing and general day to day administrative duties.

Social Media:
Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and deliver a social media strategy for the company.
Be responsible for managing and developing the companys social networking accounts. Acting as a brand ambassador, communicate with both the media and clients through a variety of channels including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and Youtube.
As well as managing the companys social media accounts interact with third party social media profiles/pages including those of suppliers, the media and influencers within the social media landscape.
You will be responsible for managing blogs as well as interacting with third party blogs and forums.
Be responsible for ongoing monitoring of client feedback as well as proactively seeking to obtain images, testimonials and stories from our clients for use across all marketing activity.
Liaise with staff following their family trips and obtain blog posts, testimonials, images and video for marketing use.
