Our client, a globally-recognised, innovative technical manufacturing company based in Huntingdon are seeking a Stores Assistant to assist in Kanban Replenishment for the Manufacturing stores.
This role is a varied position which will require a candidate with strong attention to detail, the ability to work unsupervised and an aptitude for accuracy. It is essential that you have a good understanding of Kanban processes coupled with experience in stock control, ideally within a technical manufacturing environment.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Audit of bins
- Daily counting of consumables which will need to be recorded and presented to the purchasing department
- Kanban Replenishment including picking from stores, recycling of bins, cleaning of bins
- Uphold the continuous improvement of processes
- Liaise with Quality departments with regards to inspection based on Kanban replenishment

Due to our client having two facilities, it is essential that you must hold a Driving License as this role will include travel between the two sites. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Technical Manufacturing Company within their Research and development in Cambridge. An Electronics Engineer with a hardware focus is required to assist in the design and validation of Digital and Analogue hardware. Also to support the technical team in the integration of manufactured products to meet customer expectations.
Responsible for the creation and review of design specifications for digital and analogue hardware as required within the product development process. Also to design and validate well documented, structured, modular, maintainable, robust digital and analogue hardware. To analyse and fix complex hardware and systems issues and to assist in the integration of company products with customers electronics.
Previous experience with the design and implementation of digital and analogue hardware in a commercial organisation is essential, along with either a 1st or 2.1 class honours degree in Electronic Engineering. Candidates will also require knowledge of the following:
* Hardware communications interfaces USB, Gigabit Ethernet
* High speed digital design (DDR,CPU)
* FPGA design using, VHDL and/or Verilog
* Micro Controller and C for embedded systems
* Analogue designs and switch-mode power supplies
* Schematic capture and knowledge of layout techniques for analogue and high speed circuits
* Design to meet ESD and EMC standards
