My client is a leading Information Technology distributor who specialises in providing enterprise class solutions focused on data storage, network security, enterprise software, virtualisation and access infrastructure.
Due to continued growth they wish to appoint an Internal Sales / Telesales Executive & Account Manager to their experienced team in Nottingham
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing both new and existing client accounts, with a view to achieving pre-defined sales targets.
Daily duties will includes;
- Creating and developing relationships with new customers
- Converting sales leads and up-selling wherever possible
- Answering customer queries and assisting with general sales administration
Excellent inter-personal skills and an effective telephone manner are essential, as is a high degree of self motivation, a pro-active approach to work and the ability to work well within a team and by using own initiative
A good basic understanding of the sales and customer service process is also key, along with good attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills

Internal Sales Account Manager
£19,000 – £22,000 + 6,000k Commission

Ibell Cowlin are looking for an experienced Internal Account Manager to join a successful software client based into the Cambridge area, this role would suit a driven applicant with previous account management or Sales experience.
The role will involve:
You will be responsible for lead generation, mailshot campaigns, follow up calls and other tasks associated with diary filling and booking of meetings for the UK Sales team. Using the client customer database, you will update your daily calls and activities and store client histories.
You will be tasked with preparing for, and following up on leads generated by the marketing team. You will also have involvement with sales and marketing activities within the company and will report to the Sales Manager.
As this role involves a high amount of telemarketing, you should be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual, not perturbed by cold calling every day.
In addition to the above you will be responsible for managing the client existing accounts. On average one day per week will be set aside for Account Management. This part of the role will include calling existing customers and carrying out any tasks based on information gained during this call. You will be required to provide quotes, update the sales forecast log, delegate any necessary work to the support team.
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent communicator with people of all levels.
Experience in telephone sales or Account Management
Good understanding of Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel and Outlook diary management.
A strong desire to work in a sales environment and progress within a sales role.
Target driven and proactive
Language experience is highly desired but not essential
