My client, who are part of a stable internationally renowned FMCG manufacturing group, are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work on a 4 on 4 off. The primary brief for this position is to provide planned and emergency breakdown cover.
Maintenance Engineers must have experience:
* Food / FMCG High volume / speed manufacturing machinery experience
* Strong with control panels, inverter drives, candidates able to fault find on PLC controlled equipment.
* PLC fault finding (ideally Allen Bradley, S5/ S7 or Mitsubishi)
* Basic mechanical maintenance appreciation of gearboxes, pumps, cylinder and valves, hydraulics and pneumatics and able to use a mill or lathe.

My Client is looking for an electrically biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who is Time Served or has a recognised Apprentice; Candidates ideally should be situated locally to the Corby area
THE ROLE
The Main duties will be PPM, Service, and Maintenance and attending breakdowns on high speed production machinery, they will also be required to have knowledge of continuous improvements. The candidate needs to be adaptable and be comfortable with change.
EXPERIENCE
They will have a working exp off hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, bearings and pumps. Electrically they will have exp of single and three phase electrics, invertors, control panels, candidates should also have experience with at least fault finding on PLC's preferably Siemens. 17th Edition is also an advantage Candidates would ideally be from a FMCG /Metals back ground; however our client would consider candidates from an automotive and heavy industrial background as long as they can demonstrate relevant experience
