Gas Technician/Auditor
Location: Wokingham (20 miles radius)
Realistic Earnings: IN EXCESS OF £44,000

Job Description
The role will involve providing gas servicing, repair and maintenance and quality assurance services to domestic gas social housing customers.
You will be dealing with all aspects of repair and maintenance on domestic heating appliances.
You will need to be technically strong on breakdowns and fault finding and be able to diagnose faults effectively first time. You will need to support engineers in the field with technical queries and also be available to offer on site tuition with various technical faults.
The role will also involve carrying out gas audits to ensure all engineers are working to current regulations and ensure quality of service.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will hold the relevant ACS qualifications or equivalent ? CEN1, CCN1, WAT1, HTR1 and ideally LPG. You will need to be knowledgeable in fault diagnosis and repair on domestic gas heating systems and devices with a strong grasp of current and past technology and equipment.
You will also need to have good written and verbal communication skills, be customer focused and be able to work on your own initiative.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
*Able to take immediate calls to offer technical support to engineers in the field.
*React promptly to assist engineers on site with technical issues.
*Carry out thorough gas audits on various gas installations
The successful candidates will posses the following:
*Minimum of 5-10 years experience in gas breakdowns
*Strong technical knowledge of various gas appliances past & present.
*Experience in carrying out gas audits.
*Strong training and mentoring skills
*Relevant qualifications
Qualifications
CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, WAT1, CKR1
Would be advantageous.
Part P, LPG, any commercial qualifications.
