JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager it will be the responsibility of the Project Engineering Manager to manage end-to-end delivery of a range of process and packaging projects across a number of sites maintaining high standards and meeting targets in terms of time frames, cost and specification.

Production Manager / Department Manager / CI Manager

We are recruiting a Production Manager with CI experience to run a high volume fast moving food manufacturing department (Monday to Friday (days)). The successful applicant will be a key change agent and will have significant impact on site performance. For an ambitious, proactive driver of results this could be an excellent springboard to promotion within a business with wide ranging opportunities and a strong ethos of recognising and rewarding high performers.

Initially primary focus will be on running a highly automated department which produces 20% of the site's total output managing a small team to meet demanding plans and high quality expectations from customers. Cross-training of the highly skilled work force is currently underway to enable more efficient labour use. Once the successful applicant has established management of the department and implemented systems and procedures to maximise production capabilities focus of the role will shift to incorporate site-wide CI projects.

Through deployment of continuous improvement tools and techniques, targeted capital investment and the development of flexible working practices CI projects will reduce manufacturing controllable costs and sustainably improve OEE.

Responsibilities will encompass:

We are recruiting a Project & PMO Manager on behalf of one of UK's leading food manufacturers. With sites throughout the country applicants' home location is unimportant as whilst elements of the role can be carried out from home there will be extensive travel throughout the UK visiting sites, to this end a car is included in the package. (Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence)

Part of the operations team and reporting to the Programme Manager the Project & PMO Manager will provide support to the Programme Manager, senior management across the business, site management teams and cross-functional teams in best practice project governance, risk and issue management, change control, status reporting etc.

The successful applicant must also have the drive, experience and confidence to manage operations projects directly at site level and across multiple sites. This would be an ideal opportunity for a PMO or junior project manager to take the next step with a view longer term to move into full time project management.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
