Our client, a well established engineering company is continuing to develop their global presence and now has a new and exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer who would relish the chance to play an integral role in the support, training and development of their Chinese workforce.
To be considered for this role the successful candidates will;
Be an experienced Production Engineer ideally from a metal cutting background.
Have an excellent understanding of grinding and/or turning processes
Be proficient in programming and/or operating grinding and turning machines
Be prepared to undertake regular work related oversees travel.
Essential to the role is experience in programming and running CNC machines, ideally with Fanuc operating system. Additionally, experience in operating and programming milling machines and CMM will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will also have experience as a team leader or be able to demonstrate where they have acted as a trainer to more junior / inexperienced staff members.
An overview of key duties of the role include problem solving, optimising usage of manufacturing equipment, providing drawings and ensuring that samples and production parts are produced to meet customer requirements.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a can-do positive approach who can work well individually and part of team. They must demonstrate initiative, have effective communication skills along with an excellent eye for detail.

On behalf of our client we are looking to recruit a Skilled Sand Moulder
Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture if pumps, valves and cyclones for the mining and mineral processing industry. The client has seen significant growth within the last 5 years and continues to grow year on year.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience
Ability to prepare moulds from iron and steel castings
Experience of conventional sand moulding techniques are essential
Working knowledge of finishing on iron and steel castings
Confident in a medium to heavy engineering environment
Competent to produce products to a specific requirement and high standard
Willingness to adopt Lean manufacturing principles
Motivation towards improving health and safety culture
Positive attitude to modern manufacturing processes
Must possess a recognised apprenticeship with a technical certificate
