The Manufacturing Project Manager will handle the management and introduction of new projects from advanced development, through the design phases, samples production, validation and ramp up and start of production. You will act as the bridge between the Design and manufacturing teams. By effective co-ordination of various Project teams, the Manufacturing Project Manager will ensure that critical milestones are achieved from sample production through to completion of APQP activity and into full manufacture, whilst meeting all volume, cost, quality and delivery targets. The Manufacturing Project Manager will need exceptional communication skills to liaise with, influence and motivate various internal project teams and external suppliers and there will also be regular customer contact. HNC/HND/Degree Qualified in a Mechanical Engineering discipline, you should have extensive Project Planning/Management experience in a manufacturing environment, and ideally first hand experience of the Project Management of new product introduction programmes.
