Para Planner required for a Financial Planning firm based in Taunton. Working Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm you will be responsible for the compilation of client reports as directed by the financial consultants. This is a permanent role offering a salary up to £35k.
The Para Planner will be required to manage the full review of clients needs, prepare client reports relating to pensions, investments and trustee investments, prepare assess allocation and assist with other project work as directed.
A proven track record as a Para Planner is essential, coupled with strong Pensions and/or Trust knowledge and excellent communication skills. Applications received from candidates without Pensions and/or Trust knowledge will not be considered.

Case Handler required to join a busy Reports department of a Clevedon based business. Working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, starting salary in the region of £15-17k.
The role will involve checking that reports received from a wide range of legal experts across the UK are prepared in accordance with the instructions from the solicitor and are CPR compliant. The role will involve liaising with a wide range of experts, solicitors and claimants as well reading complex reports.
Keen attention to detail and case handling skills are key to this role although full training will be provided.

Role: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Somerset / Bristol / South West
Rate: £200 - £250 p/day
Duration: 12 - 18 months
Our client, part of a world class Engineering and Construction Services and Investment Business are looking to fill and additional and newly created role in their Bristol office.
To be successful in this application you will need to have a solid background within the water sector, having experience in delivery of projects.
You will be required to:
" Ensure that a profiled forecast for the scope of work is produced in conjunction with the Programme Team
" Ensure that analysis of construction estimates/order book/authorised cost are produced
" Control all scheme commercial activities for project portfolio
" Commercially coordinate and control impact from changes (Design, Construction and Client)
" Ensure compliance within corporate systems
" Continuous improvement of systems and processes
" Ensure due consideration is given to waste when ordering and letting sub contracts
" Estimate reviews (PAC, Target) - Support to estimating in decision process
" Client Changes
" Contractual guidance, Claim resolution to authority levels
" Turnover / Budget / IBP variance reporting
" KPI monitoring and comparing performance
" Resource planning for trainee QS's and development of team
" Mentoring trainee QS's
The ideal candidate should have:
" BSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience minimum 5 years)
" Contract Management- specifically experience in NEC suite of documents
" Previous experience in financial management of medium to large Civil Engineering projects
" Civil and Process Engineering technical awareness
" Water Utility experience
" Experience of change Management
" Risk Management
" Tender negotiation
" Final account & commercial negotiation skills
