Our client is looking for Transmission Linesman to work in the Leicestershire area.
The Transmission Linesmens (Overhead lines technician) role will be assembling and erecting towers (132 kV lines, 275 kV lines). The correct applicant will have experience:
- In construction of overhead power lines (132 kV lines, 275 kV lines)
- Worked on height, on towers (masts, pylons), climbing lattice steel structures (132 kV lines, 275 kV lines)
- Stringing conductors on transmission lines (132 kV lines, 275 kV lines)
- You will be executing tasks on the overhead power lines as conductor termination, installation of joints, crimping, installation of jumpers, suspension and tension insulators installation, dumpers and spacers installation, knowledge and experience in using hydraulic tools, compressors, stringing machines, winches, hoists etc.
You will have knowledge of safety requirements for working on overhead power lines, general safety and safety from the system, earthing arrangements, permit to work system.
You will have a full Driving license

My client is looking for Mechanical Engineers and Designers at all levels to work in a variety of roles. You will be experienced with either Autocad, Inventor or ProE and have experience in one of the following disciplines:
-Mechanical Handling Equipment: This includes but is not limited to Cranes, conveyors, pumps, remote handling systems.
-Plant Layout of Mechanical Handling Equipment.
-Grouting, sludge removal or encapsulation.
Nuclear industry experience is an advantage but is not essential.
