Working within a heavy engineering environment our client is looking for 4 experienced welders for their highly reactive business.
Role:
Tig / Mig Welder must have ASME IX experience with Carbon and Stainless Steels working to Rad/UT quality
Must have experience of fabrication .
Shift work - morning and evening shifts on alternate weeks
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Fabricating experience and an understanding of the technical drawings.
Coded welders would be an advantage
Minimum 3 to 4 years welding experience

The Company:
Our client is a well renowned supplier of control systems technology to both the Nuclear and Defence industries. As a result of continued growth they are seeking a Security Controller / Officer to be based at their offices in the Wimborne area
The Role:
It is expected that the Security Controller / Officer will be responsible for maintaining compliance with the requirements of List X contracts, whilst also ensuring the organisations compliance with Nuclear Industries Security Regulations 2003
It will be the responsibility of the Security Controller to undertake security vetting for all new starters / contractors and coordinating security clearance renewals, whilst also managing access control and liaising with IT ensuing appropriate control measures are in place
The security controller will organise security clearance for international visits, internal visits and visits to customer and third party sites
It is anticipated that the Security Officer will undertake Security inductions for new starters and conducting routine briefings for all employees
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally candidates for the Security Controller role with have experience in a Defence security role along with familiarity with List X requirements
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Previous experience in as a Security Officer / Controller would be advantageous

The Role:
The Mechanical Design Engineer will support the design team with product prototype design activities, testing and approving of prototypes and investigating design related problems
Essential duties and responsibilities:-
- Design and documentation of one-off mechanical assemblies using Autodesk software (Inventor 2012).
- Manufacturing support on technical issues.
- Creation of assembly/test documentation.
- Creation of bills and materials, parts lists.
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet agreed deadlines.
- Liaise with suppliers to organize component manufacture.
- Carry out assembly and test of designs.
The position will be based in Warrington but may invlove the need to work off site if required
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or HND in a mechanical discipline with relevant experience.
Experience in a mechanical manufacturing environment.
Organisation and time management skills.
