Experience.

Main purpose of role.
To answer and log all support requests that come into the service desk. Ensuring that all support calls are logged correctly and passed to the relevant support/technical queue.
To provide triage (1st line) support on the Hosted IP Telephony Platform within the contractual SLAs set, and in-line with the customer charter. As per the pre-defined list of triage activities.
To log and deal with mobile faults, engaging with the relevant mobile supplier(s) to ensure the customer issue is dealt with as efficiently as possible.
To carry out changes to (MADC) and set up new clients on the hosted telephony platform as and when required.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Working within the Triage Team
Dealing with customer queries and resolving all Triage related requests with the customers on first contact.
Raising carrier related calls with carriers, to include data faults, and being responsible for the chasing and resolution of them. Strong communications skills are required.
Following the Helpdesk Call Centre Policies and Procedures.
To help with the voice and data MADCs (Moves, Adds, Deletes, Changes) Team and that all requests are responded to and fixed within SLA
Ensure that all department policies and procedures are followed
Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the end users regarding pertinent IT activities.
Adhere to strict change control policies held at the office.
Attend regular departmental meetings to discuss strategies for ongoing project work and network enhancements
Manage the support call queue ensuring that calls are updated regularly.
Ensure that all closed calls are closed correctly with the correct SLA
Ensure that you are available for early/late and out of hours work as agreed with your Manager
All customer phone calls are answered professionally and dealt with efficiently.
To proactively provide regular updates and ongoing support to all assigned support calls.
Personal/Professional Skills
1- 2 years experience working within a Service Desk or technical support environment.
Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards, Cisco voice and data technologies experience would be advantageous.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.

Embedded Hardware Engineer.
An experienced Electronics Engineer is required for a role within The companyss R&D department. The candidate should be capable of taking responsibility for the entire development lifecycle from requirements capture to production of circuitry with an expanding range of radio products.
