A Project Engineer is required to support our Energy Division portfolio of industrial and commercial projects, identifying requirements, tracking technical solutions and managing projects from conception to completion.
Candidates will work with senior managers in tender and bid preparation and the monitoring/management of spend against these documents.
The delivery of projects on time, to the required quality and within budget is an essential aspect of this role and candidates will need good commercial, financial and contract management skills to achieve this.
Candidates should have demonstrable interpersonal skills, be able to negotiate both internally and externally and thrive in a pressured environment, working to tight and changing pressures and deadlines.
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work in a multidisciplinary team is essential.
This position may include travel in the UK and Overseas for short to medium periods.
Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree, combined with, or working towards, a recognised project management qualification and knowledge of either Microsoft Project or Primavera.

Our Energy Division is seeking an industrial mechanical engineer with a wide range of industrial engineering experience to support our project portfolio.
The Division is currently working on mechanical projects within the bulk material handling, utility supply and distribution, brewing, power generation and rail sectors.
Candidates should be able to work alone or within a multidisciplinary team to research and analyse customer requirement specifications, undertake engineering design, evaluate mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes whilst applying their knowledge of engineering principles. A good knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation, CDM, PUWER and COMAH would therefore be desirable.
Additionally, they should have experience of contributing to the preparation of tender and bid paperwork, capital cost and operational estimates as well as reports and studies. Contract knowledge would be an advantage.
This position may include travel in the UK and Overseas for short to medium periods.
Technical Qualifications
Candidates should have a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent. Chartered Mechanical Engineers would be particularly welcome
