Major Objectives of Role

This will include, but will not be limited to, the main responsibilities given below.
A legal secretary is expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative as well as demonstrate strong team and organisational skills.
Key Tasks
*To liaise fully and efficiently with all clients in person, on the telephone and by email. To provide this client support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the Firm?s standards for client care and ensuring the client experiences the highest quality of service at all times

*To be familiar with and follow the Firm?s file management and money laundering procedures (maintaining folders, ensuring compliance) and other procedures as otherwise agreed from time to time. *To administer files which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures set out in the Procedural Manual.
*To prepare mail, residential conveyancing documentation, SDLT return forms, Land Registry applications and enclosures for dispatch using own initiative whenever appropriate.
*To undertake photocopying, binding and scanning and also to instruct others to undertake such tasks ensuring a consistently high standard of work
*To make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain an up-to-date electronic diary, noting in particular key dates
*To co-ordinate arrangements for marketing events, such as seminars, workshops and other business development activity
*To ensure that meeting rooms are booked and refreshments arranged for client or internal meetings as requested
*To provide support to other secretaries in the Team or elsewhere in the Firm as required
*To co-ordinate and organise financial management including billing each month and aged debt chasing
*To undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management
Take ?sales ownership? of all allocated Accounts & Projects, coordinating all aspects of the selling process.
Conduct regular visits and maintain a high level of contact with all key Accounts & Projects.
Work with Sales Director to develop a sales strategy for each account.
Present quarterly forecast updates for each Account & Project, including sales forecast, opportunities and risks/challenges.
Work closely with your Account & Project support team to maintain the highest service level.
Assess all business opportunities and promote the solutions to maximise sales growth.

Distributor
