Position – Care Home Manager Location – Scunthorpe Salary - £22,000 per annum. - negotiable We are looking for a Residential Care Home Manager to manage a 30 plus bedded home based in the Scunthorpe region. Ideal candidates will hold the NVQ 3, 4 qualifications as well as the RMA, LMC or equivalent. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well established care provider that will help develop your career with relevant, regular training and full support for the management team. This home is currently reshaping the management structure and as such the vacancy has arisen. Nursing Home Manager – Birmingham. An exciting new position has arisen for a Nursing Home Manager in the Birmingham region to work at a medium sized 50 plus bedded nursing home that caters for residents with nursing needs and dementia in older adults. We are looking for a high calibre manager with excellent skills in not only man-management but someone that possesses excellent commercial experience. This home operates with extremely high standards and as such we require a manager who can demonstrate that they have the right skills to maintain the same standards. The Role: Increase the intake of residents within the home and continue to raise standards. Manage all members of staff including outside agencies. Implement training / induction programs for all care staff. Ensure the highest level of care is delivered throughout the home. Quality Management and audits with the Clinical and monetary departments of the home. Maintain the excellent quality rating from CQC. To be considered for this position you will ideally need to have: - Clinical qualification with experience of working with elderly adults including service users with dementia issues within a nursing home setting. - Must have minimum of 2 years experience of managing within a nursing home. -Experience in old age care and physical disability -Experience in managing a home with exceptionally high standards - Excellent clinical skills would be an advantage - Ability to lead and motivate other staff member’s - Excellent communication marketing and business skills - Along with a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards - Must be a strong manager. Package: £40,000 (negotiable for the right person) per annum plus bonuses
