Our Client is a leading global manufacturer of electronic devices, supplying some 40,000 different components to around 2,000 companies all over the world. Their goal is to build products that facilitate user-friendly communication and relationship between people and media. The product portfolio includes switches, sensors and electromechanical components.
They are now seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the ever expanding professional team.
Key responsibilities:
Liaise with customer and design engineers to assure customer defined quality assurance documents are delivered and are adhered to for all projects and product changes on the allocated projects.
Liaise with OEM and Tier 1 to assure products are assembled as specified.
Liaise with OEM and Tier 1 to address any issues which arise associated with products both in production and in the market to include analysis at the production site and within the company as a whole, the setting up of containment at the customers and at third parties? premises.
Liaise with all manufacturing sites and design engineers to address issues which cannot be solved locally to include using internal systems to log and progress individual issues.
Working as part of project team internally with a Programme Manager and Mechanical Engineer and System Engineer).
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
A-levels or equivalent in English, maths and sciences.
Degree in Electronics or degree with significant Electronic content or HNC/HND with profound experience of working in a suitable/relevant business environment.
Sound knowledge of System integration at an Automotive-OEM or an industry with similar development process including technical documentation.
Good experience of APQP, PPAP, FMEA and SPC.
Experience of Electrical and Mechanical systems and LIN/CAN.
Team player with a positive and open attitude.
Excellent communication skills and confident and competent in front of customer.
The ability to work on own initiative, be a team player, have the ability to travel within UK and globally and be flexible in their working hours.

Responsibilities include:-
To take a lead role in investigating stock discrepancies, identifying cause, suggest and implement process improvements to ensure stock errors are kept to a minimum.
To move fast and slow movers within the picking locations and present changes to the Warehouse Manager.
To control setting up and maintaining the JDE location structure and advise colleagues on changes and updates.
To investigate SQ queries and then report to the Warehouse Manager on corrective actions.
To control and manage daily Cycle Count volumes and accuracy
To \assist the Warehouse Manager during stock takes and with setting up and controlling system related tasks.
To ensure reserve stock levels are maintained in liaison with the Department Manager.
To provide stock control KPIs to Warehouse Management.
To assist the Warehouse Manager with RF/JDE support teams on any new developments, testing and implementation.
To monitor product packaging and configuration issues and to report with DHQ on ratification.
General responsibilities;-
Assist the Warehouse Administration Clerk as and when required.
