We are seeking candidates who have experience in wiring assembly and are able to deal with complex assemblies, to read circuit diagrams, follow and interpret manufacturing documentation
In addition we require you to be experienced in the use and maintenance of crimp tool, soldering and de-soldering equipment and techniques
The successful Wiring Assembly Operators will be able to work independently as well as within a team, have a flexible approach, be conscientious and have excellent attention to detail. You will be organised and be an effective communicator.

Organizes with the communication department the communication and sales promotions

Applicants should be comfortable with travelling and along with an assertive nature and good technical aptitude you will have the following experience;
Experience in Sales of Low Voltage (LV) switchgear

Must be able to cope and be flexible under daily pressure and multi-task.

Maintain Customer relationship via on-going liaison and support.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Production Supervisor/Production Team leader for a manufacturing company based in Derby.
Having manufactured electrical products for a number of years our client is seeking a candidate who can actively support the companys quality and continuous improvement programmes to ensure productivity improvements on the shop floor.
Emphasis is on maintaining lean tools within production with specific focus being on implementation of Kaizen, 6s and VSM. Along with mentoring and supervising production teams day to day duties are to include;
Monitoring and controlling the plant team
Ensure customer service performance measured through quality, cost and delivery is continuously improved.
Plan the supervising department activities, maintaining balanced workloads for the team members,
Utilise materials, labour and machinery to achieve the maximum productivity and minimise waste in processes.
Provide support to Manufacturing Manager by attending meetings, providing statistics and information to formulate plans and budgets to meet business plans.
Monitor staff awareness training, team briefings that the departments performance against the relevant Key Performance Indicators is communicated on a regular basis.
This position is a permanent 12-month fixed term contract starting with immediate effect.
Individuals should have a strong background in continuous improvement (Six sigma, lean, kaizen, VSM, MVP, 6s) along with an HNC/D or equivalent in a manufacturing/engineering discipline.
Although no Six Sigma qualification is required for this role, evidence of where six sigma principles have been practiced will be required upon application.
