These DSQRs will represent the company to their customers for all part deliveries and ensure that our systems are working correctly to eliminate quality escapes. They will also audit internal process and be an integral part of the company's continuous improvement activities to improve delivery and quality performance. The role is independent of day to day operations activity.

The Role:

The DSQR shall be the Quality Department link between the company and our customer's quality departments.

Ensure compliance with the customer's Engineering and Quality specifications.
Carry out internal audits according to quality standards and the customer's specifications for process confirmation and improvement
Ensure that containment actions are effectively implemented in the event of any quality escapes
Investigate and report on the customer's Query Notes, Supplier Corrective Action Report Requests (SCARs) and 8D requests following quality escapes and establish areas where root causes may have occurred and ensure that 8D investigations are completed by the appropriate operations teams to meet customer root cause and corrective action timescales.
Coach operations teams on customer requirements and Root cause investigation techniques (eg 8D) and verify that all responses to the customer are of a high standard.
Training, approval and monitoring of all staff who sign C of Cs for dispatch of products
Training of all staff responsible for key quality gates such as final inspection and book to stock
Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve quality and delivery performance.
Liaison with the customer on quality issues and improvement activities
Provide customers with quality performance data including summaries of improvement activities if performance falls below agreed targets. The Person:

Time served or graduate engineer with 3 years experience.
Good knowledge of root cause and corrective action investigative tools such as 8D and process FMEA
Understanding of Advanced Quality Systems Planning.

Home Based - Cambridge & South East

I am currently looking for a Sales Executive to further strengthen the existing team. The role will include new business and account management and generating sales of power supplies and related products to customers within a specific geographical area of the UK.

Skills required include:

A proven record in new business generation.
Research, generate and arrange appointments with new business prospects.
The ability to account manage.
Be able to help develop new markets and opportunities.
Achieve target sales and ensure that the company's profit requirements are met.
Prepare quotes and present solutions to new and existing customers at all levels.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent face to face and telephone/e-mail communication skills.
Ability to communicate to all levels within a business.
Highly developed negotiating and influencing skills.
Strong commercial acumen with a professional approach.

Measurement and Instrumentation.

Salary: Circa 45K

Our client are seeking an experienced manager to control the incoming, in-process and final inspection of safety critical aerospace products including First Article Inspection reports to the latest Aerospace standards. Inspection activities encompass the evaluation and measurement of a wide variety of components and assemblies using a range of manual, co-ordinate, X-Ray and NDT techniques. You will be responsible for a team of about 50 skilled inspectors who are required to fully measure and verify prototype and routine production parts to the specified standards.

A high level of man management and planning experience is necessary to deliver inspection capacity across the range of business activities whilst maintaining strict quality standards in product performance. This is a high profile role within the business and instrumental in delivering our long term quality and delivery objectives. As such the successful candidate must be able to interact and engage with people at all levels internally and externally to the organisation.

Suitable candidates are likely to have experience in continuous improvement methodology utilising clear visual management of inspection operations to ensure that any capacity bottlenecks and non-conforming issues are quickly identified and responded to. Degree or higher level qualification in a technical or engineering discipline is preferred ideally with experience of quality and regulatory standards within the defence, aerospace or automotive industries.
