This is a fast paced consumer collections position with a company that has grown significantly over the past 2 years. The opportunity represents a rare, exciting permanent opportunity within a friendly, close-knit team environment. In this "hands on" collections role the successful candidate will be dealing with: In-bound and outbound calls. Negotiating with debtors and third parties. Agreeing and monitoring re-payment schedules. We are looking for out-going candidates that can demonstrate recent consumer collections experience, ideally within a fast paced collections environment. Working hours are based on a weekday shift pattern between 8.00am and 7.00pm with 1 Saturday worked in 4 (9am - 1pm)

Candidates will be actively involved in: Setting up and developing the monthly management accounts pack. Preparation of new monthly financial reports. Analysis and review of performance including variance analysis. Balance sheet reconciliations. Overseeing the company's purchase ledger. We are seeking candidates who are newly qualified or latter stages of their CIMA qualification. Advanced excel experience is also considered advantageous. We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance Analyst to join our Business Retail Team. You will support the Performance Manager in the setup, delivery and continuous improvement of management reporting, performance analysis and settlements reporting. You will generate insight to enable Business Retail to forecast, control, optimise and manage business performance and ensure that reports are timely, accurate, credible and enable data driven decision making. Job Accountabilities • To maintain the Scotland sales pipeline reporting function including production of the trading meeting output. • Take responsibility for running the bi-monthly wholesale settlement reports and the proactive investigation and resolution of issues. • Assist in the validation of Scotland revenue figures. • Process Scottish Water invoices including validation of amount, gain authorisation and maintain invoice and credit logs. • Assist in customer segmentation analysis for Company Business Plan and to drive In Area strategy. • Produce the Business Retail scorecard. • Support the Strategy Manager in the production of monthly Business Retail updates. • Offer adhoc support to UU Scotland Operations team and to other areas of Business Retail. • Interrogation of data providing analytical expertise to identify trends and issues. • Continuously review the reporting process to identify potential improvements and where appropriate put them in place. Knowledge and Skills • Excellent levels of analytical skills to understand trends and generate insight. • Expert knowledge of excel. • Database interrogation experience preferred. • Good use of questioning skills to recognise the need to drill down further into analysis outputs. • Self-motivated and focussed on delivering to tight targets and timescales. • Excellent verbal and communication skills; able to communicate confidently the information in a format that can be easily understood at all levels. • Good team player willing to go the extra mile to consistently achieve reporting deadlines in the delivery of high quality reports. • Excellent planning, organising and communication skills. • Attention to detail. Desirable Criteria • Educated to degree level in a numerate or business discipline.
