We are currently looking to recruit 7 Customer Advisors on a temporary basis, initially for 6 months to work for a market leader in the utilities industry to start ASAP. Candidates will need strong customer service and administrative experience as well as excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Duties will include dealing with customers on a daily basis, taking ownership of their enquiry, dealing quickly and efficiently with their requirements and ensuring that they are completely satisfied with how we have dealt with their contact. You will be dealing customers face to face, over the telephone, in written correspondence or internal customers. Successful applicants will need good keyboard skills, numerical reasoning abilities (i.e. able to make sense of figures), be articulate, have a clear and understandable voice, experience of Microsoft Office applications and have the ability to work quickly and accurately in a pressurised environment. Candidates will need the ability to carry out the following tasks: •Effectively own a customer’s contact from receipt through to reply and resolution, ensuring that promised actions are completed and the customer is kept up to date. •To effectively liaise with 3rd parties to resolve customer queries and maximise cash collection. •Demonstrate a professional, confident manner and have the ability to adapt their communication style to suit the situation. •Communicating clearly to customers both verbally and in writing about company policies and technical detail. •Thoroughly investigate a customer contact and accurately update the customer billing system with the changes within agreed service levels. •To be able to work independently and as part of a team It is desirable that you have experience in a contact centre or cash collection environment. Candidates will need to work flexibly between hours of 8.00am - 8.00pm (Monday to Friday) and 8.00am - 5.00pm (Saturday). Training is likely to last two weeks to be based in Leigh or Warrington.
