Windsor Solar are a MCS accredited solar PV installation company that were established in 2009 and have exciting expansion plans for 2012. They are currently looking for a Solar PV Electrician. Based in Windsor, Berkshire Windsor Solar serve residential and commercial customers throughout the M4 corridor, London and Home Counties carrying out installations of Solar PV systems that range in size up to 10 KWp.
The Solar PV Electrician is a key position within Windsor Solar and will be starting on a sub-contract / self-employed basis with the option of a permanent position through exemplary solar installations, quality feedback from customers and proven time management.
The Solar PV Electrician must be electrically qualified to City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 2330 and hold 17th Edition as a minimum, an additional electrical qualification such as City & Guilds 2372 Solar PV Installation would be an advantage as would working at height certification. It is also expected that the Solar PV Electrician will have at least 3 years electrical installation experience, at least 1 years experience of installing solar PV systems to domestic premises and experienced at both the electrical aspect and roofing side of a solar installation.
The Solar PV Electrician will be highly motivated taking pride in their workmanship and have a personable character. They would also be confident at taking responsibility for an electrical apprentice and managing installations to practical timescales as well as liaising directly with customers.
