Role Summary

* To deal with all non- contribution enquiry calls from people who have an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) and who may need advice and guidance during the life if the IVA.
* To manage all incoming correspondence ? email, letter and fax

* To investigate fully the impact of the customers situation on their IVA

Role Summary

• To deal with inbound and outbound calls from clients who have failed to meet the level of contributions expected
• To obtain all the relevant information and identify a solution that is appropriate for the client
• To examine cases to identify arrears and negotiate a suitable plan for repayment
• To manage all incoming correspondence – email, letter, text and fax. •

• Liaise with clients regarding payments

• Analysis financial information and discuss in clear and concise manner
• To work with our Information Management System to record and analyse information

• To investigate and reply to all incoming correspondence in a timely manner

• The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with a polite and confident telephone manner
• Ability to listen carefully to callers, question and probe effectively for the accurate personal and financial information required.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Candidate must have a non judgemental and empathic attitude
• Be flexible, open and have the ability to adapt to change
• Effective questioning skills and ability to negotiate payments

Hours of Work
Our operating hours are between 8:00am and 08:00pm. Our standard contracted hours are 37.5 hours for full time however for this role there is an expectation for overtime to meet the needs of the business.

This role will include working shifts which operate on the following basis*.

Working hours between 9am-8pm – 3 late shifts per week and no weekend work

DescriptionRegister your CV My client, the UK's leading provider of advice and solutions for people with serious debt problems, based in Adlington, Chorley is looking to add to their current team of Debt Sales Advisors.
The main purpose of the role is to take calls from people seeking help and advice on serious debt problems. This will include examining their financial details and assisting customers on how best to proceed with their individual debt problems, whilst maximising up and cross sell. The position is for inbound and outbound activity and you will be required to do both.

Key Responsibilities:
• To provide empathy, support and guidance to each person who calls.
• To use company systems to record each caller’s details.
• To act as an ambassador for Debt Free Direct
• To gather income, expenditure, debt and other financial and personal information that is relevant to the customer’s situation.
• To explain the benefits and the practicalities of the solutions most appropriate to that customer.
• To help the customer understand the best route out of their situation and explain and guide them through the steps they need to take in order to do this.
• To ensure any customers who sign up to our services follow through the steps we give them in order that we can start providing any solution in the quickest possible time
• To adhere to data protection and money laundering acts
• Any other duties as required.
