A high achieving FE college, awarded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced International Manager to join their team.
The post is initially on an interim basis for 6 months and offers a highly competitive salary of £45,000 pro rata with 37 days annual leave pro-rata.
You will work Monday-Friday based on a 37 hour working week.
The International Manager will be co-coordinating and overseeing the college?s international work including all aspects of curriculum development, student recruitment, student support and welfare, marketing, admissions and project delivery.
The successful candidate will require the following Qualifications and Experience:
Degree or professional/vocational qualification and/or industrial/commercial training qualifications.
Successful promotion and selling of education programmes and/or EFL programmes and/or direct international student recruitment programmes for either Universities or FE colleges in the UK.
Design, initiation and implementation of marketing plans, strategies and sales tactics which have made a significant contribution to sustained business growth.
Success in student recruitment in specific overseas markets.
Deploying, monitoring and controlling resources effectively and efficiently.
Effective change management.
Knowledge & understanding of current developments in international work and UKBA arrangements.
Setting and meeting sales targets in a complex services environment.
Knowledge and understanding of university pathway provision.
Knowledge and understanding of national policy affecting Post-16 education
Ability to motivate, lead and work constructively as part of a team
Empathy with and strong commitment to meeting the need s of individual students.

Edgware Associates are working with an outstanding college in the area who are looking for a Motorcycle instructor/ Motor cycle technician/ Senior Workshop Technician Motorcycles/ Workshop Instructor Motorcycle / Motorcycle Technician/ Motor Bike Technician
This is an exciting role for an experienced Motorcycle technician or experienced person who has worked with motorcycles. This opportunity will further your technician/motorcycle experience in college/teaching environment.
The college itself is state of the art, every classroom has interactive whiteboards. The college facilities are world class and it boasts a top of the range motorcycle/ automotive department and facilities.
As a Senior Workshop Instructor Assessor (SWIA) you will be responsible to the Head of department. You will need to provide support to the motorcycle students practically and in a classroom setting. This involves some delivery of motorcycle theory as well as practical instruction in the workshop. You must have up to date technical knowledge in motorcycle and be comfortable teaching to a group of students.
