Electrical Design Engineer - To £40K + Bonus + Package in London REF 685 We are looking for an Electrical Engineer that is proficient in Amtech and Dialux and for an immediate start with an innovative building services consultancy that has doubled in size over the last three years. Reporting to a Principal or Associate, you will be given the opportunity of developing your experience and knowledge in aspects such as bidding, leading client meetings, attending project interviews, resource planning and invoicing. You will enjoy getting involved in projects through their full lifecycle, from concept to completion and also working directly with Architects, developers and end users rather than just on behalf of contractors. Level 4 EPC Assessor - London - 12 Month Contract Due to a sustained increase in workload, we are currently looking for an Accredited Level 3 & 4 EPC Assessor for a large global property and engineering firm based in central London. Reporting to the Director of Energy & Sustainability you will be responsible for carrying out surveys on a range of commercial office, retail, large scale residential and hotel and leisure projects and then producing detailed Commercial EPC's in an accurate and timely manner. In order to be considered you must be accredited using IES to do level 3 and 4 EPCs (level 5 optional), be able to communicate confidently, have access to a car and be willing to travel across London and the South east to carry out surveys. Day to day responsibilities will include producing heat loss and heat gain calculations, producing duct sizing, pipe sizing, plant sizing, assisting with thermal modelling using IES, assisting with above ground hot and cold water services and also coordinating with the various other in-house disciplines. It is likely that the Mechanical building services design engineer will have at least three years' experience as a consulting engineer, have competed a degree in mechanical, energy or building services engineering and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of sustainable design and be able to use Hevacomp and IES. Reporting to a Director or Associate you will be responsible for producing energy efficient, innovative and cost effective solutions across the commercial, healthcare, education, residential and commercial sectors. We are working with one of the world’s largest commercial property advisors to find them a client facing and commercially aware Senior Electrical Engineer to carry out a hybrid design and surveying role. Based in their stunning London office in Zone 1 you will enjoy working with around 500 property professionals on a range on range of leisure, hotel, retail and luxury residential projects located in the UK and Europe. In addition to producing design, specifications and calculations you will also be required to carry out a range of specialist surveys such as dilapidation, due diligence, plant lifecycle, pre-acquisition and feasibility studies. You will also be involved in overseeing and evaluating the performance of the maintenance contacts to ensure the clients are getting the best value for money and also the possible return in their property investments. In order to be considered it is essential that you are degree qualified, have at least five years’ experience in the building services industry, have a goof appreciate for all aspects of MEP services and can communicate effectively at all levels. Whilst not essential previous experience with maintenance contract tendering and auditing and some experience with resource planning and fee bids would be advantageous.
