You will get the opportunity of working on a blend of commercial, media, mission critical and retail projects and will receive full support and guidance to become a chartered, senior engineer. A well-known privately owned building services consultancy located near Sevenoaks are urgently seeking a client facing, Electrical or Senior Electrical Design Engineer for their stable office. This role is likely to appeal to an enthusiastic and ambitious Electrical Engineer who is ready to take the next step up, or perhaps a recently promoted Senior Engineer who is looking to have more involvement and control over their projects and clients. The ideal individual will have five or more years’ experience in a similar role, be familiar with carrying out electrical surveys, preparing condition reports, scope of works and technical specifications and must be able to independently design electrical, small power, fire detection, UPS and security systems. As you will required to attend and lead client and design team meetings and also mentor and manage less experienced staff, you will need to have good communication and influencing skills. In addition to a largely autonomous role, full support when needed from Partners or Directors you will also enjoy working in a professional and relaxed office environment on a range of commercial, industrial, mixed use , education and leisure projects.

Due to recent promotions and a genuine desire to grow their Sustainability and Building Physics team, they are now looking for a Sustainability / Building Physics Engineer with at least four years experience in a similar role to champion environmental analysis and also assist in developing broader sustainability services across the group. In addition to carrying out energy performance analysis, MEP systems simulation, compliance analysis and microclimate analysis, you will also liaise and coordinate with the other engineers to ensure that the most suitable low or zero carbon solutions are integrated into projects. The ideal Sustainability / Building Physics Engineer will have advanced IESVE modelling skills, a good understanding of MEP services and passive technologies such as natural ventilation, night time cooling, grey water recycling and thermal storage techniques and must have a good understanding of environmental engineering.
An international multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is urgently looking for an Accredited BREEAM Assessor / Sustainability Consultant for their central London office to work on a range of high profile projects across the UK, the UAE and South America. Reporting to Director of Sustainability you will be responsible for attending kick off meetings and using your expert knowledge in passive and sustainable building design, transport, materials, waste, ecology, energy and MEP services to come up with innovative solutions that minimise the environmental impact of buildings. This is a hands-on role and you will be responsible for leading the BREEAM process from inception through to post construction reviews and hence you must be able to communicate effectively with a range of clients and colleagues and provide high level advice regarding how to improve a building's environmental performance. You will enjoy working in a unified and motivated team of around 50 staff, comprising of civil and structural, environmental, MEP design and energy engineers on a range of education, mixed use, healthcare and residential projects. Please note our client will only consider applications from Accredited BREEAM professionals who have already gained at least two years’ experience and have a good understanding of sustainable building design and sustainable construction methods. Whilst not essential individuals who have obtained BREEAM AP status and have come from an M&E background will have a slight advantage.
We are working in partnership with a privately owned global, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in London to find them a talented Junior HVAC Design Engineer to carry out a hybrid HVAC design and IES Modelling role. Having firmly established themselves as one of the leading consultancies in London they are now looking to appoint a junior mechanical design engineer to work on a blend of hotel, residential, education, commercial office and healthcare projects. In addition to the usual responsibilities of duct and pipe sizing, heat loss and heat gain calculations, attending site surveys, designing straight onto AutoCAD you will also be required to use IESVE to carry out Thermal and energy assessments for low energy buildings, Part L calculations, solar shading and summer overheating analysis. Based in their modern, spacious and friendly team of around 60 individuals, you will be given extensive support and mentoring in order that you are able to progress to an intermediate role in the next 12 months.

Working in a close knit team you will develop your skills in duct sizing, pipe sizing, plant sizing, heat loss / heat gain calculations, sizing storage tank rooms, creating layouts and schematics and energy strategies whilst receiving on-going support and guidance in order that you can become a Chartered Engineer.
