The opportunity:
Working in a busy engine shop environment, reporting to the Team Leader, the Repair Technician will carry out repairs to gas turbine engine components common to sheet metal work and fabrication. Typical component types will include combustion liners, turbine vanes and blades, turbine housings, gas generator cases, bearing support housings and sheet metal components. You will conduct all work in accordance with company policies, health and safety procedures, quality procedures, manufacturers and customer specifications and industry regulations. With an increase in workload we are now looking to add to our small but growing Repair Services team.
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in a number of the following: welding, sheet metal work, vacuum furnace operation (heat treatments), vacuum brazing, bench fitting and blending (manual and air tools). Experience gained within a gas turbine engine overhaul environment is highly desirable. To be successful in the role you will be a team player, wiling to help, enthusiastic, keen to solve problems applying high attention to detail as well as being a self starter.

Due to an expansion within the business, we are seeking an Engine Technician to be based onsite at our clients ‘Engine Services’ facility in Gosport, Hampshire.
Working within a team, the Engine Technician will be responsible for the complete maintenance and inspection of aircraft engines and for their return to serviceable condition. The Engine Technician will strip and rebuild Gas Turbine Engines to the standards required by CAA/FAA. This role will require you to ensure turn-around times are kept to a minimum whilst ensuring the workshop is clean and tidy at all times and meets Health and Safety requirements.
You will possess excellent communication skills along with a Gas Turbine apprenticeship or equivalent. You will have hands on working knowledge of maintenance procedures and experience of operating all relevant machinery. In addition to this, experience of deep strip and rebuild of engines in their entirety would be advantageous as would experience of component strip. You will possibly be on the development path to becoming an Inspector and will have experience of stamping your own and the work of others.

Due to an expansion within the business, we are looking to recruit an experienced Quick Engine Change Team Leader to be based onsite at our facility in Gosport, Hampshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new, growing team, focused on providing customers with overhaul services of the entire engine unit. Working in a busy engine shop environment, reporting to the QEC Manager, we require a Production Team Leader to be responsible for managing a team of 6 to 8 QEC Technicians. Key responsibilities will be to ensure the production of the required volume of acceptable quality products efficiently and safely in accordance with the production schedule and within budget. You will drive the team?s performance forward, generating opportunities for internal development of staff through training and development within a LEAN environment which is continuously improving on IQ (improving quality) and enhancing AI (associate involvement).
Interested applicants should have a relevant apprenticeship or equivalent with proven experience of managing team?s through performance management coupled with the ability to coach and develop performance. You will have experience of IQ and AI as well as LEAN methodology and have knowledge of aircraft documentation practices. Experience of carrying out airframe repairs and a thorough understanding of aero engines is essential; experience of working with lifting equipment is desirable.
The role will be challenging and demanding, and you will need the confidence in your expertise to deliver results and take this new product line and opportunity forward.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, we require a Technical Author to provide technical and administrative support to the Engine Services UK Product Engineering Team. Working closely with engineers, production and the quality team you will ensure that all OEM technical literature is translated into in-house engineering generated technical documentation. You will be responsible for the formal issue and control of in-house engineering generated technical documentation and work with the Technical Library/Publications team to ensure systems are in place for the correct literature to be accessible.

Reporting into the Logistics Manager we are seeking a Logistics Team Leader to provide support within the growing team based within our ‘Engine Services’ facility in Gosport, Hampshire.
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the ordering of material, controlling sub-contract requirements, controlling inventory through the shop floor and shipping of the product to the end customer in accordance with company policy. This will involve close working with the production plan. Around 50% of your time will involve supervisory duties and 50% hands on operational work.
We are interested to hear from individuals who have supervisory experience gained within a logistics/stores environment, ideally within aerospace or component manufacturing. Experience in either material supply, material handling or shipping is required. This role could incorporate internal or external logistics. To be successful in the role you will be able to lead by example and demonstrate strong team work ethics. Knowledge of specific parts relating to the appropriate engine types, experience with assisting other support functions and the proficient use of in-house computer systems are desirable. Experience of ERP is also preferred.
