The Role - Experienced OIL & GAS Recruiter The need is for someone to focus on sub-surface of sub-sea. The role will be full 360 and dual-desk, predominantly UK centric (currently at 70% throughout the organisation), certainly initially, with plans to expand to a global reach. On the contracts side, pay rate for contractors is ordinarily between £500/day to £1200/day The Candidate You have worked (recently) or are working (ideally) within the Oil & Gas recruitment market-place, ideally in sub-surface or sub-sea and are looking at continuing within this discipline in a company with greater prospects and potential. You are well connected and can utilise your network to expedite your success.

We are a small, specialised Search firm, working within a niche area of financial services recruitment. Working with the Managing Consultant, this role involves direct approaches to potential clients, with a view to bringing their suitable recruitment business to the firm. This role will initially be "based at home" and the hours involved completely at your discretion, although there will be additional opportunities if the BDM shows high levels of success. Using supplied leads and further leads gathered through your own initiative, you will represent the firm during direct telephone approaches to potential clients. You will be the initial contact in long term business relationships with new clients; establishing positive contact with hiring managers and HR (when required), promoting the firm, cross selling appropriate services and agreeing Terms on the firm's behalf (subject to limitations). You will assess the suitability of any potential recruitment requirements (discussing with your manager where necessary) and progress on-going client management to your manager (inc. all details of any suitable recruitment requirements and associated contacts). The ideal applicant will have solid experience in recruitment/telephone based business development - preferably in the financial services sector. This role might suit someone who has decided to leave full time employment and would appreciate the initial opportunity to work from home, on their own initiative. A professional and friendly telephone manner is essential.
