Looking after a near 24/7 operation the plant Manager will have responsibility for Increasing production for demand, whilst increasing efficency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in lean continuous improvement, espcially 5s, have a good solid background of driving forward OEE. In addition, you will have experience in "turn arounds" and will hvae the knowledhe and ability to turn round a manufacturing facility into a well ran efficent production site. Salary dependent on experience £45000 to £55000.

Plan manning levels based on volumes and ensure production output levels are in line with budgeted payroll costs (cost per unit). Interrogate data to formulate action plans to prepare, review and maintain site performance KPI’s and provide reports as required by business. Ensure team 121’s are completed on a monthly basis and reviewed in line with Company standards. To ensure all reactive and proactive maintenance tasks are undertaken in accordance with company safety policy and completed in a timely and professional manner. This vacancy is for weekend cover only Friday to Monday. Key Accountabilities Ensure plant maintained to high standard. Ensure PM tasks completed. Ensure plant operates >69% OEE.
