We are looking to appoint a Radiology Secretary to provide essential secretarial support to our Diagnosting Imaging department. You will have strong secretarial; communicatin and relationship building skills. Duties Include: Having secretarial rights to the Medspeech Voice Activation dictation system in order to print all dictated reports from the Medspeech system, match with request forms and pass to the fling room team, faxing any urgent reports when requested. Also ensuring the context adaptation is regurarly carried out among with the initial training for new Radiologists. Having a basic knowledge of the Radiology booking system (RIS) in order to assist the admin team when required ie. staff on annual leave, sickness, with booking and filing room duties. Having a basic knowledge of the Vertisoft system in order to make necessary adjustments to reports linked from RIS. Providing cover for the other Evening Secretarial shift if and when required ie. staff leave or sickness and participating in a Saturday morning rota. Ensuring that all addendums appear correctly on the RIS system and typing any reports sent for correction on the Medspeech system, ensuring that they are signed by the radiologist before the end of their reporting session. Having a basic knowledge of PACS in order to provide basic technical support if required and typing any reports sent by PACSmail. Monitoring any inbox queries, addressing them to the right area of the department. Taking information from patients in a polite and professional manner, updating patient/doctors details at each appointment and inputting all information correctly onto the computer systems according to hospital procedure. Ensuring that patient confidentiality is not breached and advising the Administration Lead of any problems within the department, taking immediate action where necessary. To be responsible for the MRI double reporting process and monitor the turnaround time. Liasing with the Admin Lead to ensure the Radiologists monthly sessions are correctly collated and sent to the Clinical Director.

We are looking to appoint a supervisor to work with our team of professional front of house staff. You will be responsible for the activities of all Outpatient Reception areas. Provide a link between Hospital , Patients and Consultant users. Manage and coordinate all Outpatient Reception Staff. Shared on-call responsibility of High Profile admissions and Out-Patients to the BUPA Cromwell Hospital with other members of the High Profile Patients VIP Coordination Group. To lead the Out-Patient Reception Team , ensuring an efficient and high quality service to patients and doctors 2. Undertake the day to day line management responsibilities for the OPD Reception Team 3. To actively ensure a delivery of a quality service through efficient deployment of available resources 4. Raise cash or credit card refunds and obtain authorisation. 17. Ensure that Z readings and taken and reconciliation of PDQ machine are done as required. 18. Assist the Front of House Manager in developing and implementing manual procedures during computer downtime and transfer information when system is reinstated. 19. Issue Medical Record Numbers, front sheets, labels and make up medical records as required. 20. To assist in the development of the Departmental Training Program and be involved in ongoing training for all staff within the department. 21. Ensure all departmental mandatory training is carried out 22. Liaise and cooperate with other departments ensuring the smooth running of the Reception Desks. 23. Ensure that the departmental Rota in updated taking into consideration level of service in Reception areas and staff Annual Leave requests 24.
