Remove rust and scale by sanding /grinding. Degrease/wash the products. Prime the product to the specified thickness. Allow to dry. Prepare primed surfaces in readiness for top coating. Top coat as per contract or other specified requirement to correct thickness. Inspect for any defect or sub standard finish and rectify as required. Allow to dry and remove to a storage area. Keeping the Paint Shops clean and tidy. Ensure all the extraction systems and filters are cleaned or replaced as necessary. Store paint in the relevant cupboards. Dispose of empty tins into the designated storage bin via the crusher. Booking out equipment from the Stores. Assembling of products on and offsite. Transport products using the Company Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck and overhead lifting equipment. Attend training courses as required. Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Team Leader. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous similar experience. I walk with a rollator, sticks and do have a wheelchair that I need to use on some occasions. I occasionally have falls that you need to be aware of.
